Responsibilities

Research Advancement Team 1
- Overall management of academic research advancement projects
- Basic planning, education/research/student guidance (including research and industry-academic cooperation activities)
- Support for research environments for newly appointed professors
- Planning and operation of the National Researcher Development Project
- University accounting (including government-funded support projects)
Research Advancement Team 2
- Operation of academic research institutes
- Planning and operation of global research collaboration
- Management of internal research institutes and professional research personnel

Research Advancement Team 1
- Supported excellent researchers and research institutes through the National Researcher Development Project (34 researchers selected across 9 projects in the first half of 2025)
- Early policy implementation and support for newly appointed professors (44 professors supported in the first half of 2025)
- Provided funding for outstanding papers through selected courses for student guidance and industry-academic cooperation research activities (Approximately 1,700 papers supported as of 2024)
Research Advancement Team 2
- Managed research institutes through five sessions of the Academic Research Institute Council, including related regulation revisions and establishment
- Managed professional research personnel (application, approval, dispatch for lectures and academic activities, education, practical training, etc.)
- Supported 12 joint research projects between Jeonbuk National University and global top 30 universities/research institutions (activities included working-level meetings, workshops, academic seminars, and regional linkage programs)
- Operated the Global Top 30 Flagship Researcher Development Project (6 projects under the Global Researcher Development Program)
- Supported 18 joint research projects with Global Top 100 institutions
