A. Description of Responsibilities / Key Achievements

Responsibilities

  • Development Fund Office
    • Planning and executing various fundraising projects essential for university operations
    • Supporting education, scholarships, and research at Jeonbuk National University through donors' valuable contributions
    • Facilitating personalized donation programs to provide convenient giving opportunities for donors
    • Offering high-quality donor services, e.g., presentation of plaques, name engraving on honor walls, issuing thank-you cards and reservation confirmations

    • Securing stable and sustainable development funds to ensure the university’s long-term financial health
      • In 2024, development funds increased by 5,242,766 thousand KRW (35.6% rise compared to the 5-year average)
      • Strengthened fundraising by discovering and retaining major donors
      • Expanded funding through corporate MOU agreements and dormant donation discovery in cooperation with university-affiliated offices
    • Expanded planned giving and stable fundraising through engagement with major donors
      • Hosted Honor Wall Ceremony: Plaque unveiling at Samsung Culture Center with attendance by Chairman Kim Jung-ok (Oct. 14, 2024)
      • Appreciation Ceremonies for Major Donors: Events for donors of over 10 million KRW to recognize contributions
      • Dedication Ceremonies for Late Donors: Honoring deceased donors and promoting family-centered donation culture
    • Ongoing promotional efforts and events to promote a culture of giving
      • Development Fund Proclamation Ceremony: Held April 5, 2024, for the 77th anniversary to share future vision and campaign goals
      • Scholarship Certificate Award Ceremony for “House of Sponsors”: Monthly events connecting scholarship recipients and sponsors (e.g., June 17, 2025)
      • “Beautiful Donation Stories” series: Promoting donor stories via interviews and internal communications
    • Produced and distributed development fund and donation reports to enhance transparency and credibility
    • Expanded cooperation through nationwide MOUs with related organizations
    • Established internal MOU management guidelines to implement efficient and systematic procedures
